I establish a candid communication with my patients and first listen to them in detail, whatever they have been through. After listening, I evaluate with a detailed physical examination. I determine a treatment plan with the findings I get from listening and evaluating my patient. First of all, I tell my patient what happened and present the treatment program I have planned in all aspects. While I am treating, I also give homework to my patients, and in this way, we can handle the whole treatment process together.

I was born in October 1993. After completing my primary and secondary education, I took the university exam and won the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Mustafa Kemal University.

To be honest, the reason I chose this department was to have a guaranteed job in the first place. Because, like many families, we went through difficult times. Therefore, while making my choice, the idea of a profession that would provide a guaranteed job was at the forefront, not as my dream job. But as I said, this thought only lasted until I met my department and my profession. In other words, I realized in a short time that this profession is not an obligation, but a profession of my life. During my school life, I did various internships and tried to get to know the profession in the field. These internships were the internships I did in hospitals at first.

But during these internship processes, I thought that I could add more to a person. Towards the last years of my university, I applied to a big hospital in Ankara for internship and started the internship. Until this process, my goal was to observe the field of athlete health and manual therapy. The people around me who saw this interest said that there were people working in these fields in Ankara and they directed me. This is how I met my professors, who were very valuable to me both personally and professionally.

First of all, I sent a message to my teacher on social media and he invited me to his clinic and said, "Come and meet me." I was very excited to meet you on the way to the clinic, but I still could not imagine that they would be so valuable to me. After meeting, I started my internship. I was with them for a very long time. They gave me a very broad perspective in a professional sense. In particular, I learned from them the idea of what I can add to a patient who applied to me. But the most important thing for me was that they gave me a perspective on life rather than a professional perspective.

The idea of what I can add to a person professionally occurred, instead of looking at the patient as a robot or a machine, I adopted the idea of approaching the patient as a human being with feelings and thoughts, and I think I will not abandon this approach for the rest of my life. In other words, a message I sent on social media did not only give me an internship experience, it gave me a life and professional philosophy. Most importantly, it brought people who are very valuable to me and for whom I will be grateful for the rest of my life.

After starting my professional life, I started working in the field of athlete health, which was my first goal. I continued my business life in a football club. Working at the sports club was quite fun and gave me important professional experience. Then I moved on to my second football team. As I said, sports physiotherapists have been very entertaining and have provided very good experiences in terms of professional development. But my heart was always in favor of working in the field of manual therapy with my teachers. As a matter of fact, this happened in the future. I continue my professional life with my valuable teachers and colleagues, with whom I am currently working.

As I mentioned, throughout my school, internship and business life, I have tried to spend serious efforts and I am trying. While I was doing all this, the words that my father always said "No effort you put in is wasted" never left my mind. That's why it's very important to me to put effort and effort. I apply this willingly and happily in all areas of my life.

I also work for each person in my life separately. Because when I treat a person, I represent my family with my personality, I represent those who taught me these things through my work, and if I don't try hard enough, I cannot represent their efforts on me and them well. That's why I do my best. I never stop being honest while doing everything I can, the most important thing is honesty with myself.

My source of motivation is, as I explained, the idea of representing the people around me well and what I can add to a patient who consults me in order to increase his/her quality of life. When I combine this source of motivation with my desire and passion for my job, I see very successful results.

Of course, I don't just spend effort while working. Under the umbrella of science, I try to add something to people with my professional experience. That's why I took various trainings. The most important of these for me is IKOMT manual therapy training. With this training, I learned to touch people's lives by questioning them scientifically, without depending on a technique, and I still continue to develop it.

There is a very important point that I learned personally and professionally. I should never hide behind only my strengths, I should always identify my weaknesses and strengthen them as well. If I can't provide this, I cannot realize my most important motto, which is to add something to the people around me. That's why I continue to add something to myself and to learn, by strengthening my weaknesses without ever hiding under my strengths, and I will always continue to do so.
